Tuesday Shout Out #8

Yes, I skipped the shout out last week.

I know.

I was winding up my last week at work before summer, the yard needed mowed after a day of work...yada, yada, yada.

Life happened.

So, it's Tuesday again, and I'm off and running.

Again.

It will be a run to the feed mill, the library (my favorite!), and a short trip to Walmart.

BUT, I have 6 new shops to share with you this week.

#1 Moxie Thrift
Leah @ Moxie Thrift has got the cutest little shop.  She sells vintage, mid century, retro, and primitive things.  Her exact words.  And she sells them for very reasonable prices.
If you're looking for a unique item, check her out!

I mean, if you have a game room, or just like games in general, you NEED THIS!

And when you're having your outdoor summer party, you'll need THIS!

And of course, everyone needs an adorable sewing basket.  I have one, but it's green, and it's adorable!
Support Leah and her shop.  You know you want to.

#2 House of Belonging
Oh. my. gosh.  Tiffini at House of Belonging makes the most beautiful things!  Her clothing, her signs, her sayings.  Wonderful.  She has so many great things in her shop...how could you ever choose?  I tried to narrow it down, and chose these items.

Even the way she takes her pictures and displays her products is gorgeous.  Thank you Tiffini for your beautiful items!

#3 Eye Spy Goods
Eclectic collection of vintage goods pretty much sums up this great little shop.

Plus, on top of it all, the prices are great too.

I mean, just look at these great items...

Vintage Shoe Clips...

 Necklaces to die for...

And a fantastic slip that you shouldn't mind peeking out from underneath your skirt.
Go, run, get to this shop.

#4 Little Red Hen & Co.
Missy @ Little Red Hen has unique farmhouse decor for sale.

Hand painted signs, tags for wedding receptions, and much, much more.  Her items are beautiful and unique.

If you LOVE the farmhouse style, look her up, and if you're getting married and styling around that "farmhouse" look, DEFINITELY check out Missy's shop.

Sara's shop sells sweet farmhouse style good as well.  Her shop sells the items I personally want in my own home.

I mean, doesn't everyone need a canning lid wreath...um, yes.
A chalkboard made with a vintage spoon...

and a chick feed pillow for a "chicken farmer."  Perfect.

Sara's prices are also very reasonable, so check her out as well.

and lastly...

To be honest, when I found this shop, the name is what drew me first.  Grace is currently in LOVE with everything cats, so I had to check this shop out.  It did not disappoint.

It boasts that it sells vintage goods, curiosities, and reclaimed supply goods.  And what great goods it has.

Vintage metal cans...

Vintage Christmas ornaments...

And great vintage animals for those farm collectors out there.
Red cat, I've got your number!

Since I skipped out on last week's post, I'm giving you the link here to the last post I had, complete with the link to my etsy shop favorites.

Have a great week y'all!

This is the story of a girl...

That's right, this IS the story of a girl...

who 14 1/2 years ago came into the world on her exact due date.

She made friends, changed some, went back to the old ones, and changed some again.

She played soccer, tried gymnastics, then settled on softball for several years.  Next came volleyball, basketball, and more softball.  She finally settled on cheer, which is her best sport yet!

In school, she got good grades and served on student council from 5th grade all through this year.

She had crazy birthday parties with themes that kept her mother hopping trying to figure out how to make the cake.  Year after year passed, and she grew older of course, with each year passing faster than the last.

All the way up to now.  The end of 8th grade.

The end of life before High School.

Last Thursday her school had an 8th grade graduation celebration.

There were awards (of which she received a silver key art award for a painting she finished, and an award for honor roll), and diplomas given.  There were refreshments, and MANY, MANY pictures taken.

These are her besties.  The girls who got her through this year as she would tell it.

They are all beautiful inside and out, and I'm glad she picked them.

Here we go Grace, FRESHMAN YEAR.  Ready or not.

Tuesday Shout Out #7

I'm sitting here listening to the thunder rolling outside, and planning my list for the next 4 Etsy shops I've found and favorited.

I think you'll love them just as much as I do.  (For all my previous shout out posts, look at the last 6 Tuesdays, or click this link to go directly to my Etsy favorites list.

I'll try to keep myself to task seeing as how Grace is sitting behind me asking me these random science questions.  "Mom, How do you write a genotype that relates to....?"  "What is a recessive gene?"

You know what, there are reasons I didn't go into the field of Science.  I might have gotten A's all through the science years, but it doesn't mean I liked it.

Now, where were we?  Oh, yes, my TUESDAY SHOUT OUT!

I have 4 new shops that I've come across that I instantly fell in love with.

#1  Sweet and Simple.
Kelly's shop has sweet and simple handmade jewelry at sweet prices.
It's a mix of vintage and chic.
I could see myself wearing any of her pieces.

I'm really into birds lately because it reminds me a necklace I had when I was little.  Plus, I like how all these pieces are timeless and could be worn with anything.

I will be back for more browsing Kelly!

#2  Fancy That Design House.

Stephanie's shop has the best prints I've seen in a long time, and SHE has great prices.

Her prints are whimsical, retro, and inspirational with a vintage flair.  These are some of my favorites.

I LOVE this print...probably because it's something I should live by.  I'm a worrier by nature.

This one would go great in my nautical inspired guest bathroom.
Check out this shop for sure!

#3 Beca Runs.
I LOVE the name.  Very clever.  It always makes me wonder where people come up with the names of their shops.

Beca Runs sells vintage supplies and treasures.
Her things are rather whimsical too...check out the ceramic cows when you look through her shop.

These are some of my favorites.

Manager...of the house maybe!
 Pendants...yep, add to my collection.

And globes, you  can never have too many.

#4 Shabby Vintage Mom
Kristen makes my ideas come to life with ornate frames and aqua paint.

Jewelry organizer...

Ornate mirror...

 And the loveliest frames.
I LOVE these new shops.  I hope you do too.
