That's right...I like storage and "cute-ability" in a purse.
It doesn't have to cost alot, just be completely useful.
I have alot of purses in my closet. I don't necessarily switch them with every outfit I wear...that's too time consuming...but I do switch them with my moods. I switch them when I'm feeling the one I currently carry doesn't have enough storage for what I'm carrying at the time.
I buy a lot of purses at Goodwill. But, I buy only name brand ones. I have a SAK purse in the closet, a GAP, and several Vera Bradley ones (some I bought on clearance on the website.) I used to have a Kate Spade one, but it wasn't big enough.
I recently saw on a website a lady who revealed what was in her purse...so that's what I'm going to do today, and I have a GIVEAWAY too.
This is the purse I currently carry.
Inside, this is what I'm carrying...
I've got a big calendar to control our crazy schedule, matching wallet, library cards, pens, nail file, phone, extra gap mini purse for lipsticks, hair clips and hair bands for whenever Grace or I need some. Hairspray, mentos, and ibuprofen.
Now, for the GIVEAWAY...I'm giving away a purse I made last year.
I converted a market tote that I got from Target last spring. It's a light denim color with a very cute lining.
I did add a customized flower pin that is removable so you can wear it on the purse, or on you!

ReplyDeleteHA! In my purse is.....tylenol, wallet, perfume, pens, coupons, glasses, day planner, one reeses heart chocolate. I don't remember how it got there. Some fruit snacks and a diaper for emergencies! Too much I guess, but it all serves it's purpose!!!

ReplyDeletemy wallet, keys, tape measure, sun glasses, reading glasses, cell phone, camera, carmex, two lipchaps (as we call them), address book, book of all my paint colors and fabric swatches, two bills to mail, card key for work, 2 spools of thread that are the colors of my daughters upcoming wedding, tylenol, ibuprofen, benadryl, epi pen, spare car keys, coin purse w/canadian money, check book and last but not least my Kindle with it's power cord.
As you may have guessed, my purse is the size of a small suitcase :)

Cute,cute purses!! In mine I have a phone,wallet,hand sanitizer,used Disneyland passes,tons of receipts,lip gloss,aleve,and sunglasses. Thank you for helping me clean out my bag!! :)

ReplyDeleteI have my wallet which I carry more often by itself than in my purse. I have pens, tissues, lotion, hand sanitizer, lip gloss, a mini measuring tape, and usually my Bible.

In my purse I carry 2 wallets, 1 larger and the other small to carry just a few credit card and ID cards. Wipes, pens, lip balm/stick, assortment of candy for the kiddos, a few small toys, hand sanitzer, hand lotion, altoids and often a book that I am reading. Already a follower. Love reading your posts.
ReplyDeleteRight now I am using a small Vera purse that my mother gave me. It is the perfect size to fly with . It can wrap around your neck. I used it to fly around Christmas and still using it. It has lots of pockets.

ReplyDeleteMy purse -- a quilted not Vera Bradley bag that could use retiring -- has really only basics. I've got my wallet, kleenex, lipstick, a pen, a comb and a mirror. Maybe gum and a few other little odds and ends. I carry it in my tote bag and that has my calendar and keys and papers I should sort through. This looks great for summer!
