Anyway, Brent took the week off too because he had an extra week roll-over from last year. We've been gettin' things done! I'm so lucky to have a handy husband!
He changed out my drippy kitchen faucet yesterday, with a goose-neck one I've always wanted!
He put up my grape arbor in the garden today...
(I was VERY surprised how tall it was!)
And on Thursday we're gonna take a day trip up to somewhere in Michigan with the kids. (Any suggestions???)
I met with Vicki from CurlyWillowDIY and passed on the wreaths I made for her. She is delightful! I was so nervous! Meeting a blog buddy in person. But it was great. She's so genuine!
I got my cold weather items planted in the garden today. Potatoes, peas, lettuce, and scallions. I need to get some onion bulbs and plant those too. I'm gettin' antsy for fresh veggies!
The flower beds also need to be cleaned up and duck mulch added.
There is just so much to do, and the week is already slipping away so fast!
We're having a great time, though, and we're stayin' up late, watchin' movies, and sleepin' in.
We needed this week to rejuvenate ourselves.

Hope you continue to enjoy your break. I think the warm weather is supposed to return by the end of the week. I'm spending the week working on stuff around here too. Tomorrow I'm going to Hobby Lobby and I bet I come home with more projects to add to my list.

ReplyDeleteNow that sounds like my kinda week off. I am taking a week off in May to do all this good stuff. I can’t wait to clean windows and dust light fixtures and such--the sick part is that I mean it--I really can’t wait :) LOL Enjoy your family time!!
