Truth Thursday (on a Friday!)

My daughter, not so gently, reminded me I didn't do my Truth Thursday yesterday.

You see, my husband hooked her up to my blog, and apparently she's reading it. This is why it remains PG. You never know WHO EXACTLY is reading this!

So, anyway, I thought all day about what I would post about. What do I think you should know about me. I mean, for heaven's sakes, this blog is ME talking about MYSELF all the time!

SO.......I thought about the two places that I would most like to travel to. I know this is definitely a REMOTE possibility that it would even happen, especially since my husband would never go for it, but I thought I would share anyway....it's what I do.

Let's just begin by saying I'm a movie watcher. I am. I'm a member of Netflix, and proud of it. So, over the course of several years, I've watched plenty of movies. This one is one of my favorites.

NOT necessarily for the story, but for the scenery. IT IS GORGEOUS! No, correction, BEYOND GORGEOUS! I've always wanted to travel to Italy for some reason, and this movie just sealed the deal.

Just look at that view. The city I mean, NOT the man, (but he is nice too!) The countryside views in the movie are very pretty too, and the main character lives in a house with a name (that for some reason totally eludes me now.) Anyway, go out and rent it, and you'll find out for yourself. I would brave the 8-9 hour flight just to go for a week!

The NEXT movie sealed the deal for the other place I would like to visit.

A cheesy, romantic movie, but those are just right up my alley. This movie was about Greece. Another place I've always secretly wanted to visit. Again, I'm not sure why, maybe it's for the gorgeous scenery as well, or for the history of the buildings, I don't know, I just wanna, ya know?!

It's a funny movie too, Nia Vardalos IS funny, just like in MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING.

I don't know about the flight to Greece, though, online it said it was an 18 hour flight? Can that be right? I don't know. I would have to stay for a month if I flew that long!

So, that's what you got outa me for Truth Thursday. Where is the one place in the world YOU'VE always wanted to go?

  1. Both wonderful choices and I would be thrilled with either myself. In addition to these I have always wanted to go to Austria-to the alps. I want to walk along the hilltops like the Sound Of Music. Sigh...
