There were drifts that totally obliterated our front porch steps...
and caused need for my uncle to come and plow us out of our own driveway.
And our neighbor to plow out our entire road because the County trucks REALLY DO NOT care about little 'ol us.
I also decided it was high time, apparently for me to get the flu, and our computer to take a day off (it's decision, not ours) from connecting to the Internet.It was a rough week, until I got this little package in the mail.
You see, a couple weeks ago, I won a little giveaway on Denise's blog.I was blown away! I never win anything!
But she sent me some of the most adorable things evah!
Like this snowman pillow and flag garland.
This mini cupcake stand and flower clip.
These great bird tags...and little pitcher.
There was also an IKEA towel (LOVE THEM!) and another picture of the garland.
Denise even had her own little sticker to go on the bag this all came in.
Very vintage. Very ME!
Just look at the pillow on my rocker...it just fits!

Lucky dog! Hope your feeling better - we're passing strep/ bronchitis around our house during our snow days. Yuck. Sounds like there's a bit more weather on the way for all of us - so I'm hoping you stay healthy and warm in the winter weather.

Hi Vintage Girl, I am trying to catch up from a week on the road and admiring your new header and background. The thing that I loved about it was the little flag banner and lo and behold you won one that looks just like it. This is a great giveaway for sure, I love all the great things you got. Thank goodness for neighbors! We have a neighbor who comes through with a plow too, since the city won't come out to our road.
